The Brooklyn community is reeling after the tragic death of 16-year-old Tyson Harps of the Bronx, who was fatally shot Saturday evening in what police are describing as a deadly assault.
Authorities report that officers responded at approximately 8:47 p.m. on November 1 to a 911 call reporting an assault at 1196 Eastern Parkway in the 71st Precinct. Upon arrival, they found Harps unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
