A tragic shooting in West Garfield Park, Chicago, has claimed the life of 16-year-old David Mason Jr. on Tuesday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
Chicago Police responded around 2:30 p.m. to reports of a person shot near West End and Keeler. Witnesses told officers that the teen had been driven to Mt. Sinai Hospital shortly after the incident. David Mason Jr. was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, chest, and arms and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
