Authorities are investigating a devastating crash that left a 19-year-old woman dead Friday afternoon in Colquitt County, Georgia, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
The fatal accident happened around 3:50 p.m. on October 10, 2025, at the intersection of State Route 35 and State Route 33. The crash involved a sedan driven by Kennajia Artheria Jaleah Seay and a semi-truck traveling south on SR 35.

Preliminary findings indicate that Seay was driving north on SR 35 and attempted to make a left turn onto SR 33 when her car was struck on the passenger side by the front of the semi-truck. The impact caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway, coming to rest in a ditch at the southwest corner of the intersection.
Colquitt County Coroner Verlyn Brock confirmed that Seay was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
The Georgia State Patrol, with assistance from the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office and the Moultrie Police Department, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly collision.
