Montgomery Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left 19-year-old Kashabe Perkins Jr. dead and two others injured early Friday morning along the 4600 block of Mobile Highway. The incident, which occurred just after sunrise, prompted a large emergency response, with officers and fire medics rushing to the scene following multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, first responders found Perkins suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts to stabilize him, he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital shortly after being transported. Two firearms were recovered from the scene during the investigation, but no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
