19-Year-Old Samuel Charles Evans Arrested in Connection with November 1 Shooting in Bloomsburg
The Bloomsburg Police Department has announced the arrest of 19-year-old Samuel Charles Evans as the suspect involved in a shooting that occurred on Saturday, November 1. Evans was apprehended without incident at his home in Mahanoy City, following an intensive investigation and with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

Police officials credited community cooperation for the swift resolution of the case. Local residents and businesses played a key role by providing valuable tips and surveillance footage, which enabled investigators to confirm Evans’ identity and move forward with the arrest.

Evans is currently being held in the Columbia County Prison on $500,000 bail.
