NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A tragic shooting on Scalf Drive has claimed the life of Keona Wilson, 42, a devoted mother, daughter, and friend remembered for her warmth, resilience, and love for family.
According to Metro Nashville Police, the incident unfolded after Wilson drove to a residence on Scalf Drive upon noticing her husband’s car parked there. She moved the vehicle to the front of the house and knocked on the door, where she encountered 42-year-old Keosha Geer. The two women argued through the home’s security camera speaker before the dispute escalated.
Police reported that Wilson allegedly attempted to enter the home, prompting Geer to fire a shot through the door, which missed her. Once inside, a physical altercation occurred, during which Geer fired again, striking Wilson in the stomach.
Despite her injuries, Wilson managed to get into her husband’s car and drive away. She ultimately flagged down an officer outside the Madison Police Precinct and was rushed to Skyline Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
Wilson’s sudden and violent death has left her family and community in deep grief. Loved ones describe her as courageous, compassionate, and dedicated to her family — a woman whose life left an enduring mark on those around her.
