Salem, OR — A tragic accident in northeast Salem on November 15 has claimed the life of 56-year-old Quinn Webb, who collided with construction equipment while riding his three-wheeled motorcycle.
The crash occurred around 8:38 p.m. on Hazelgreen Road NE, near 49th Avenue NE. According to Salem Police, a motorist reported seeing Webb approach an active construction zone where the road had been closed off. Investigators say Webb bypassed a barricade blocking access to the area and continued into the restricted section of the road.

Inside the construction zone, which police confirmed was inactive and unattended at the time, Webb struck an excavator positioned on-site. He was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.
