AIKEN, S.C. — The Aiken community is grieving after a devastating accident claimed the life of two-year-old Elliana Mae Mishoe, a joyful and beloved child remembered for the light she brought into every life she touched.

Authorities confirmed that Elliana died on Saturday, December 28, 2024, following a side-by-side utility vehicle accident. Her passing has left family, friends, and neighbors heartbroken as they come to terms with the loss of a child whose presence radiated happiness and love.
A Short Life Full of Joy
Born in Aiken to Sherwood “Woody” Leon Mishoe and Carrie Elizabeth Reynolds, Elliana quickly became the center of her family’s world. Relatives say her boundless energy, contagious laughter, and tender heart brought warmth to everyone around her.
She loved being outdoors, joining her family on hunting and fishing trips, and playing with her siblings and nephews. Known affectionately for proudly pointing out “my church” each time she passed one, Elliana’s innocence and curiosity reflected a faith and spirit far beyond her years.
“Elliana never met a stranger,” one family member shared. “She embraced everyone with love and joy.”
A Family’s Heartbreak
Elliana is survived by her parents; her sisters, Kristen Stevens, Chandler Mishoe, and Hannah Mishoe; her brother, Hunter Jordan; her grandparents, Norman and Judy Reynolds, and Bobby and Wanda Mishoe; as well as her uncle, Bobby (Crystal) Mishoe, Jr. She also leaves behind nephews Pressley Stevens, Briggs Stevens, Lanew Tyler, and Caiden Tyler, who adored her dearly.
Her family says they will forever treasure the memories of her laughter, her radiant smile, and the unconditional love she so freely gave.
Funeral Services
A service celebrating Elliana’s life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Mercy Church in Aiken, with Pastor Kenny Murphy officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Southlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Bobby Mishoe, Jr., Jeff Edwards, Clay Tyler, Joel Stevens, and Christian Holden.
A Lasting Legacy
Though her time on earth was tragically brief, Elliana’s impact on her family and community was immeasurable. Loved ones take comfort in the belief that she is now their angel, watching over them from above.
Her family has asked for continued prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
Elliana Mae Mishoe will forever be remembered as a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Her joyful spirit and boundless love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
