Authorities have arrested a man following a security scare at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday, after investigators say he made threatening remarks during a video call with a family member.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the suspect was taken into custody without incident, and officers recovered an AR-15–style rifle or a similar firearm from his vehicle. No shots were fired, and officials confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.

Police say the threats prompted an immediate response from airport security and law enforcement officers stationed inside the terminal.
