A devastating accident in Taylor County has claimed the life of 19-year-old Allen M. Madison of Ashland, Wisconsin, leaving his loved ones and community heartbroken.
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the crash happened early Monday morning, September 29, 2025, just before 6 a.m. along State Highway 13 in Chelsea. Authorities say Madison’s southbound vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a semi-truck. The violent impact sparked a fire that engulfed both vehicles. Despite rapid response from emergency crews, Madison was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver escaped without serious injuries.
