Turner, Maine – A tragic head-on crash Tuesday morning claimed the life of 28-year-old Jacqueline Langevin of Auburn and left another driver injured, authorities confirmed.

According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 9:56 a.m. on September 9, 2025, on Auburn Road (Route 4) near SR1 Recreation. Deputies and Turner Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a serious collision involving entrapment.
Investigators found that Langevin’s 2005 Volvo station wagon had crossed the centerline and collided directly with a FedEx delivery truck. Langevin was pronounced dead at the scene. The FedEx driver, 37-year-old Cory Parent of Auburn, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.
The Maine State Police Commercial Enforcement Unit is assisting in the investigation, which remains ongoing. Officials have not yet determined what caused Langevin’s vehicle to cross into oncoming traffic.
Auburn Road was closed for approximately 4.5 hours while emergency crews and investigators worked to clear the roadway. Authorities have stated that no further details are available at this time but promised updates as the investigation progresses.
The Auburn and Turner communities are mourning the loss of Langevin as officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
