The Aurora Police Department continues to investigate the tragic shooting that occurred Saturday night at the Two Brothers Roundhouse, an event that has left the community reeling. Authorities have released additional details surrounding the incident, which unfolded on November 22, 2025, around 9:10 p.m. when Aurora Police Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired at 205 N. Broadway.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division, along with Evidence Technicians, began gathering evidence and working on the case, with the Kane County Coroner’s Office also called to the scene.

Kane County Coroner Dr. Monica Silva confirmed the identities of the two deceased victims as 24-year-old Jazmine Barclay of Aurora and 43-year-old Bryan Heineman of Naperville. “On behalf of my entire staff, I wish to relay our deepest condolences to the loved ones of Ms. Barclay and Mr. Heineman,” Dr. Silva said.
Preliminary findings suggest that Heineman and Barclay had been in a dating relationship. On the evening of the incident, Barclay and a 33-year-old male were on the upper-level balcony of the Roundhouse music room when Heineman reportedly entered the venue. Evidence indicates he may have learned of their whereabouts from a social media post, leading him to confront the pair. Shortly after approaching them, Heineman opened fire, striking both victims before turning the gun on himself.
Barclay was transported to Mercy Hospital but was pronounced dead due to gunshot wounds. The 33-year-old male remains in critical condition in the ICU. Heineman was pronounced dead at the scene. Thankfully, no bystanders were injured.
A firearm was recovered near Heineman, along with additional evidence that corroborates witness statements.
Aurora Police Chief Matt Thomas expressed the gravity of the situation: “This was a deeply traumatic event for the victims, their families, the employees and patrons who were there, and the community as a whole. People simply trying to enjoy their night out were suddenly confronted with targeted violence. Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and every member of our community who is still processing what they experienced.”
