Officials have released the name of the man killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Interstate 20.
According to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, 45-year-old Albert Stroman Jr. died after a 2012 Toyota Camry he was driving struck a guardrail on the westbound on-ramp from I-520 to I-20 around 9:06 p.m.
Investigators said Stroman was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:48 p.m., Coroner Darryl Ables confirmed.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and the North Augusta Department of Public Safety are continuing to investigate the crash. A toxicology report is pending as part of the ongoing inquiry.
