Authorities are investigating a late-night shooting that occurred Thursday in the 200 block of Tripmont Court, leaving one person critically injured.
Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded after reports of gunfire and discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical personnel provided immediate treatment before transporting the individual to a nearby hospital. The victim’s condition has not yet been released.
