Baton Rouge Police Investigate Fatal Shooting at Local Barbershop That Claimed Life of 29-Year-Old Marvin Tolliver

A tragic shooting inside a Baton Rouge barbershop on Wednesday evening has left the community mourning the loss of 29-year-old Marvin Tolliver, who was fatally shot while at the Fade District Barbershop on Greenwell Springs Road.

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office, police were called to the scene around 6:33 p.m. after reports of gunfire erupted inside the popular neighborhood shop. When officers arrived, they found Tolliver suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite urgent life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
