The investigation revealed that Humphrey was driving a 2024 Chevy Blazer northeast on FM 3284 when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and the front end struck the ground. The crash caused the Blazer to roll over FM 136, collide with a culvert, become airborne, and ultimately come to rest in a private yard.

Humphrey, the sole occupant, was trapped inside the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Judge Karen Diaz.

Troopers from the Sinton Highway Patrol Office are continuing their investigation to determine the factors that contributed to the deadly accident.

This tragic incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers posed by roadway curves and the importance of cautious driving.

The community extends condolences to the family and friends of Donald Humphrey during this difficult time.
