On Wednesday evening, a devastating incident occurred in Bel Air’s 1700 block of Woodhome Drive, where a van crashed into a residential home, sparking a fire fueled by a natural gas line, according to Harford County fire officials.
The impact and subsequent blaze damaged the home and prompted neighboring residents to evacuate.
Eyewitness footage obtained by WJZ appears to show a white work van embedded in the house.
Authorities have identified the driver, who allegedly fled the scene after the crash, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported.
