Belize City authorities are investigating the death of Delecia Flowers, a woman in her early 30s, who was found dead inside her home on Complex Street Wednesday morning. Police have confirmed that her death is being treated as a murder investigation.
Reports indicate that Flowers was brutally beaten prior to her death. Her teenage daughter was also injured during the incident and was taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.
