Benjamin Dessange, 57, youngest son of renowned French hairdresser Jacques Dessange, died on November 5. He was scheduled to stand trial for severe sexual harassment charges in Paris.
Benjamin Dessange faced allegations from Annabel Talon, a former employee, who accused him of sexual harassment, hostile phone calls, and deliberate violence from 2011 to 2013. An investigating judge ordered a trial on April 8, citing testimony and approximately 50 text messages, some of sexual nature, sent by Dessange.

The judge considered the aggravating circumstance of abuse of authority due to Dessange’s hierarchical position. Dessange International confirmed his passing on Thursday.
