Iwinski was pronounced dead at the scene by the Berks County Coroner’s Office. The Nissan’s driver, a 22-year-old man from Schwenksville, and his passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Reading, were airlifted to Reading Hospital by Life Lion. Their conditions remain undisclosed.

Authorities also noted that Iwinski’s Subaru appeared to be traveling without headlights despite the low-light conditions. The roadway, which has a posted 45 mph speed limit, is clearly marked with double yellow lines.

Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash as the Bernville community mourns the loss of Iwinski.
