The Bloomington community is heartbroken following the sudden and unexpected passing of Andrea Lynn Crook, affectionately known as “Sweet Angel,” on October 11, 2025, at the age of 38. Born in Indianapolis on June 7, 1987, Andrea brought light, laughter, and warmth wherever she went, leaving a void in the hearts of family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Andrea was a vibrant and compassionate soul whose presence could lift spirits and soothe hearts. Known for her humor, wisdom, and genuine empathy, she had an uncanny ability to make those around her feel valued and seen. Her advice, kindness, and spontaneous joy left lasting impressions on everyone she touched.

A creative force at heart, Andrea expressed herself through artistry in everything from decorating flower beds to transforming everyday spaces with her thoughtful touch. Her life radiated color and warmth, reflecting her belief that beauty could be created from anything. Beyond her artistic gifts, Andrea was fiercely loyal to those she loved, standing by friends and family in times of need and ensuring no one faced life’s challenges alone.
Andrea is survived by her devoted partner, Robert Napier, her loving brother, Nick Crook, and close friends Brenna Beeman, Deidre Baugh, Kaleigh Robbins, and Taja Hughes, all of whom carry cherished memories and pieces of her indomitable spirit. She is now reunited with her parents, whose loss she bore with quiet strength throughout her life.
Though her absence is deeply felt, Andrea’s legacy of love, joy, and unwavering support endures. Her life serves as a reminder that true impact is measured not by fame or recognition, but by the depth of kindness, loyalty, and light one brings into the lives of others.
