Authorities in Boston have confirmed the identity of the woman who was fatally shot during a daytime incident in Roxbury on Monday. The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Marie Molea-Anthony, a longtime resident of Boston.
Police reports indicate that the shooting occurred near 1855 Washington Street at approximately 1:07 p.m. Responding officers found Marie with a gunshot wound and immediately transported her to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
