According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on Corps Road 2. Witnesses reported that a 2008 Suzuki GSXR750 was traveling at significant speed when it veered off the roadway and struck a barrier. The impact ejected both riders — 19-year-old Kyron Richardson and 16-year-old Caitlyn Sponholz — killing them instantly.
