BREWSTER, WA — A tragic chain of collisions on Saturday night claimed the life of 64-year-old Annette Gorr of Brewster. The incident occurred along State Route 97, approximately five miles east of Brewster, authorities confirmed.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), Gorr was walking in the northbound lane when she was struck by a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Anselmo Morales-Enriquez. Morales-Enriquez reportedly attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to stop in time. The impact caused Gorr to fall into the roadway. Morales-Enriquez pulled over immediately to assist.

Tragically, while Gorr remained on the road, a second northbound vehicle struck her and fled the scene. Moments later, a third vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Jeremy Liberty of Easton, also collided with Gorr. Liberty initially continued driving but was later located by law enforcement.
Emergency responders pronounced Gorr dead at the scene. Authorities are actively investigating the hit-and-run vehicle involved in the second collision and are asking for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
