Bronx Man Dies in Tragic Motorcycle Crash on Taconic State Parkway

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. — The community is mourning the sudden loss of Miguel Aguilar-Bruno, 39, of the Bronx, who tragically died Wednesday night following a motorcycle accident on the Taconic State Parkway.

According to New York State Police, the crash occurred around 9:16 p.m. on the northbound side of the parkway in Mount Pleasant. Authorities report that Aguilar-Bruno was unable to navigate a curve, lost control of his motorcycle, and struck a guardrail. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
