Born on March 25, 2008, Brooke was known for her passion for music and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her. A senior in high school, she served as flute section leader and played the saxophone in Jazz 1. Beyond her instrumental talents, Brooke was also a gifted singer and songwriter, using her creativity to inspire her peers, teachers, and community. Her voice, laughter, and kind spirit left a lasting impression wherever she went.

Brooke’s passing has left her family—John and Dianne Foster—and her school community devastated. In response to the tragedy, counselors and mental health professionals have been made available to help students and staff process their grief and honor her memory.

A Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 1, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM at the same location.

The Foster family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Brooke’s memory to The Asher House (www.TheAsherHouse.com
), an animal rescue organization that was especially close to her heart.

Though her life was cut short, Brooke’s love, creativity, and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. Her family, friends, and community will forever carry the memory of her beautiful light.
