DPS investigators report that the crash unfolded when 45-year-old Rosalba Munoz, driving a semi-truck eastbound on FM 1296, failed to stop at a posted stop sign before entering U.S. Highway 385. Miranda, traveling northbound on the highway, had the right of way, and her vehicle was struck directly by Munoz’s truck as it entered the intersection.
