Carencro Community Mourns Unexpected Passing of Tanasha T. Faulk, Daughter of LSU Football Legend Kevin Faulk
Carencro, LA – The close-knit community of Carencro is grappling with profound sorrow following the sudden death of 30-year-old Tanasha T. Faulk on December 6, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. As the daughter of renowned former LSU and NFL running back Kevin Faulk, Tanasha’s passing marks a heartbreaking second loss for the family, coming just four years after the death of her younger sister, Kevione, in 2021 at age 19.

Born on January 23, 1995, to Kevin Troy Faulk and Latisha Clark Faulk, Tanasha was a lifelong resident of Carencro and a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. A 2014 graduate of Carencro High School, she was celebrated for her vibrant spirit, generosity, and deep commitment to family. Tanasha found immense joy in motherhood, cherishing her three daughters—Ava Shelvin, Jornell Zenon, and Jaida Louis—whom she proudly watched grow and thrive. Her love extended to holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, and Mardi Gras celebrations, where she often expressed her passion through cooking meals that brought loved ones together.
