CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga and Hixson communities are mourning the sudden passing of Danielle Turnbow Garner, a local wife, mother, and well-known Unum professional.
Her husband, Miles Austin Garner, shared the news in a heartfelt social media post Friday, writing, “Friday my beautiful wife Danielle Turnbow Garner went home to be with the Lord. Please pray for our families as we get through this difficult time. Love you always, baby.”

A lifelong local, Garner was a graduate of Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She served as a VB National Accounts Implementation Manager at Unum, where colleagues knew her for her dedication and leadership.
