Chicago Couple Ashley and Alex Medina Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Authorities on Chicago’s South Side have identified the two individuals found dead inside a vehicle on Friday evening as Ashley Medina and Alex Medina, a young couple whose lives were tragically ended in what police believe was a domestic-related murder-suicide.

According to the Chicago Police Department, officers responded to reports of two unresponsive individuals inside a car around 7:07 p.m. in the 300 block of West 31st Street in the Armour Square neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered both Ashley and Alex Medina suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, and a firearm was recovered from the vehicle.
