CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A devastating crash in Beaver County claimed the life of a young motorcyclist on Monday night, leaving the community shaken and calling renewed attention to safety along one of the area’s busiest corridors.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 19-year-old Brandon L. Booher of Beaver died after his motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Constitution Boulevard and the entrance to the Chippewa Towne Center. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on September 9, 2024, a time when the roadway is often crowded with both local and commuter traffic.

Investigators said Booher was traveling north on Constitution Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at a red light. His motorcycle struck a car that was attempting to turn left out of the shopping center.
The force of the impact proved fatal. Booher was pronounced dead at the scene by the Beaver County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the second vehicle, whose name has not yet been released, was injured and transported by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Authorities said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
