A man was fatally shot following a heated argument with his daughter’s boyfriend early Saturday morning, according to San Antonio Police.

Authorities responded to the incident at around 12:20 a.m. in the parking lot of a Taco Palenque restaurant on Blanco Road near Loop 1604 West.
According to police, the events began earlier in the evening when the woman, her boyfriend, identified as Franco Xavier Summers, and her father, Christopher Fuentes, were together at a nearby bar.
The father and boyfriend became embroiled in an argument, prompting the woman and her father to leave the bar and walk over to the restaurant.
Summers allegedly drove to the Taco Palenque parking lot and confronted Fuentes again.
As the argument escalated, Fuentes reportedly approached Summers’ vehicle.
At that point, Summers allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired several rounds, striking Fuentes. Fuentes was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
After the shooting, Summers fled the area in his vehicle.
San Antonio Police are actively searching for him and have asked anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
