Desert Hot Springs, CA — A tragic accident claimed the life of Christopher Ventura, a 21-year-old motorcyclist, after a collision with another vehicle on Saturday morning.

Desert Hot Springs Police officers responded to the intersection of Palm Drive and Dillon Road around 7:40 a.m. following reports of a major crash. Upon arrival, Ventura was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police have indicated that alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Authorities have not released identifying information for the occupants of the other vehicle or the type of vehicle involved.
