Karlie, a proud resident of Clinton with deep roots in Tecumseh, balanced her professional pursuits with her most treasured role—being a devoted wife to her husband, Jonathan (Jon) Baird, and a loving mother to their two children, Bentley and Kally. Her family and friends remember her as someone whose joy lit up every room and whose warmth turned even ordinary moments into lasting memories.
Professionally, Karlie was a valued team member at Amerivac Hydro Excavation and also displayed her entrepreneurial spirit as the Owner and CEO of KB Mixology Wedding/Event Bartender. Through her business, she created countless joyful moments for couples, families, and friends celebrating milestones.
Her passion for learning was equally inspiring. At Siena Heights University, she studied Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child Psychology, Sociology, and Human Development. These fields reflected her lifelong dedication to caring for children and families—values that were evident in both her work and personal life.

More than anything, Karlie’s life centered around her family. She poured her love into her marriage with Jon and into raising Bentley and Kally, ensuring they always felt supported, safe, and deeply loved. Her children were her greatest joy, and her values of patience, kindness, and dedication will continue to guide them as they grow.

The suddenness of Karlie’s passing has shaken her loved ones and the broader community. To support her grieving family, a fundraiser organized by Brea Below and Holly Wright has been launched to help ease the burden of funeral costs and living expenses. In their heartfelt appeal, they wrote:
“Karlie was a devoted mother who loved Bentley & Kally fiercely. For her husband Jon and the kids, losing Karlie so quickly and unexpectedly has left them in shock & despair. The reality of accumulating financial obligations, everyday living expenses, and unexpected funeral costs is weighing heavy on the shoulders of Jon & her family. This tragedy has left many of us wondering — how can we help?”
