Colorado – The Mountain View Fire Rescue (MVFR) community and the greater Colorado area are mourning the loss of Eric Losh, a dedicated firefighter, respected engineer, and beloved community member. Eric, who joined MVFR in 2010, tragically passed away in an off-duty accident, leaving a profound void among family, friends, and colleagues.

During his nearly 15-year career, Eric earned recognition for his bravery, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public safety. Rising to the rank of Engineer, he was admired for his technical expertise and his compassionate leadership, earning the respect and trust of peers and superiors alike.
Eric was known not only for his skills as a firefighter but also for his reliability and kindness off duty. Colleagues remember him as someone who could always be counted on during times of crisis, reflecting a character defined by service, integrity, and generosity.
Outside of work, Eric cherished his family and friends. His warmth, humor, and dedication to those around him left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
