Friends and family are reeling after 32-year-old Jocelyn Gonzalez, a beloved mother of four, was killed in a single-vehicle accident late last week.
Gonzalez, known for her radiant smile and boundless love for her children, died at the scene when the car she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Authorities have not yet released the exact location or additional details of the crash, which remains under investigation.
“Jocelyn was the heartbeat of our family,” said her sister Marisol Gonzalez through tears. “She was everyone’s rock—always smiling, always putting her kids and everyone else first. We’re completely shattered.”

Described by those who knew her as “pure sunshine,” Jocelyn leaves behind four children ranging in age from 6 to 14. Friends say she poured every ounce of her energy into raising them, often working multiple jobs while still finding time to cheer at their games, help with homework, and make every birthday feel like a celebration.
“She could light up the darkest day,” childhood friend Vanessa Rivera posted online. “There wasn’t a person she met who didn’t feel loved by her.”
In the days since the accident, an outpouring of support has flooded social media and a GoFundMe launched by Jocelyn’s sisters. The fundraiser, intended to cover funeral costs and help secure stability for her children, surpassed its initial goal within 48 hours as donations poured in from across the community.
