ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — The Blevins family and their community are grieving the loss of Branson Blevins, an 11-year-old from Robertsdale who passed away in a Rome, Italy hospital after complications from an adenovirus. Branson had been battling leukemia for the past 14 months, a fight that touched countless lives along the way.

Branson’s parents, Donald and Nichole Blevins, are currently navigating the difficult process of bringing their son home to Alabama from Italy, a journey fraught with emotional and logistical challenges. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time, noting that arrangements are still being finalized.
