LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. – A fatal single-vehicle crash on a rural Laurens County road has claimed the life of a 33-year-old local man, leaving the community in mourning.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirms the crash happened Tuesday evening on Lincoln Road near Ora Road. Troopers say Spencer Edge was driving alone when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.

Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Edge was pronounced dead at the scene by the Laurens County Coroner’s Office.
