TULSA, Okla. — With deep sorrow, the family of Ashton Scott Meyer has announced his passing on September 3, 2025, at the age of 23. Born December 20, 2001, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Ashton was the beloved son of Travis Meyer and Susan Crow, remembered as a young man whose laughter, love, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives.

From an early age, Ashton’s presence was unforgettable. With his piercing blue eyes, golden blonde hair, and radiant smile, he carried a joy and energy that uplifted those around him. Known affectionately as “Tank,” Ashton was loyal, strong, and steadfast, embodying a heart as vast as the Oklahoma sky.
Family and friends recall him as adventurous and full of life. Whether racing cars with his trademark lead foot, playing soccer, competing on the football field, or unwinding with his favorite video games and a Dr. Pepper in hand, Ashton embraced every moment with passion and enthusiasm.
His love extended beyond people to his cherished cats, Remi and Cleo, who rarely left his side. He was also a proud member of the Bixby football and soccer communities, where he formed lasting bonds and friendships that became an important part of his life.
Ashton’s playful humor, especially his teasing of his brother Crosby, and the familiar sound of his “Fred Flintstone feet,” will remain treasured memories among those who knew him best. His warmth, humor, and authenticity left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
He is survived by his parents, Travis Meyer and wife Rose; Susan Crow and husband Mark; siblings Crosby Meyer, Leah Meyer, and Anna Mills with husband Michael; nieces and nephew Hadley Mills, London Meyer, and Hesston Mills; grandfather Gerhart Meyer; uncle Shawn Meyer and wife Rhonda; as well as step-siblings Jakob, Lukas, and Kaleb Gartzke, Chris Crow, Evangelyn Charry, Andrew Crow, Joseph Crow, and Tori Abel. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Betty and Kenneth Collard and paternal grandmother Delores Meyer.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at New Beginnings in Bixby, Oklahoma, with his stepfather Mark Crow officiating.
