The Coppell community is grieving the devastating loss of Miles Fain, a beloved young man whose life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening in Dallas, Texas.
Miles, remembered for his kindness, intelligence, and infectious enthusiasm, was a 2025 graduate of Coppell High School and a former member of the Coppell High School Golf Booster Club. He had recently begun his freshman year at Arizona State University, where he was eager to embrace new opportunities and pursue his academic dreams.

According to those who knew him best, Miles embodied a rare blend of compassion and charisma. His friends and teachers recall his leadership, humor, and deep sense of empathy, describing him as a young man who “always put others before himself.” Whether on the golf course, in the classroom, or spending time with loved ones, Miles had an uplifting presence that made everyone around him feel valued.
Born and raised in Coppell, Miles was the beloved son of Meredith Fain and the cherished grandson of Ron and Lizzie Fain. He had returned home for fall break, filling his family’s home with laughter and joy — moments that now serve as precious memories. His sudden passing has left his family and the entire community heartbroken.
To honor his memory, the Fain family has announced plans to establish scholarships in Miles’ name, ensuring that his legacy of kindness, curiosity, and generosity continues to inspire others for generations to come.
