Authorities are investigating a fatal collision that occurred late Saturday morning on FM 730 North in Azle, Texas, leaving one man dead and others injured.
According to the Azle Police Department, the crash took place just before 11 a.m. in the 1800 block of the roadway and involved a Ford F-250 pickup truck and a Mitsubishi Outlander. Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the collision.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Ford was traveling southbound while the Mitsubishi was heading northbound. Police say the Mitsubishi attempted to use the center lane to make a left turn when it collided with the southbound Ford.
The driver of the Mitsubishi has been identified as 65-year-old William Morgan of Newark, Texas. He was transported to a nearby hospital following the crash but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Ford truck was unharmed, though a passenger in the pickup was hospitalized with injuries, the severity of which has not been disclosed.
The Azle Police Department, in coordination with the Tarrant County Traffic Investigation Unit, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine its exact cause.
