CLAY COUNTY, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of 64-year-old Terry D. McClure of East Bernstadt on Monday, September 8, 2025.
Troopers said the accident happened around 2:21 p.m. on State Highway 1524 near its intersection with State Highway 2000. Investigators determined that McClure was riding his 1993 Harley-Davidson westbound when his motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with a 2014 Ford F-150 driven by Rodney R. Jackson, 58, of Manchester.
Emergency responders pronounced McClure dead at the scene. Jackson was transported to Advent Health Manchester and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
McClure is remembered by family, friends, and community members as a man whose warmth and presence left a lasting impact. His sudden passing has left loved ones devastated, with many reflecting on the joy he brought into their lives.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities noted that toxicology results are pending, and additional details will be released as the inquiry continues.
