The East Prairie, Missouri community is grieving the tragic death of 22-year-old Joseph Lawrence Farver, a dedicated Union carpenter whose life was cut short on October 4, 2025, near Advance, Missouri. Known for his hardworking nature, generous spirit, and infectious energy, Joseph’s passing has left family, friends, and colleagues heartbroken.
Born on August 7, 2003, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Joseph was the beloved son of Joe Farver and Amber Jenkins. From an early age, he was admired for his strong work ethic, humility, and kindhearted nature. Friends and family remember him as someone who could brighten any room and lived life with enthusiasm, warmth, and a genuine love for others.

As a Union Carpenter, Joseph was respected for his skill, determination, and reliability on every project. Colleagues recall not only his professional dedication but also his ability to bring positivity and laughter to every job site. Outside of work, Joseph had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and adventures that reflected his love of nature.
Joseph treasured the people and animals closest to him. He shared a loving bond with his girlfriend, Ryanne Ambrose, and their dogs Dally, Sarge, and Copper. His family fondly remembers him as a selfless and caring presence, always ready to support those in need.
He is survived by his mother, Amber (Brodie) Harkness of Dexter; father, Joe Farver of Advance; girlfriend, Ryanne Ambrose of East Prairie; brother, Joshua Farver of Dexter; sister, Addison Loftus of Warrenton, Missouri; grandmother, Elizabeth Warren of Dexter; and great-grandmother, Doris Langston of Bloomfield. He was preceded in death by grandmother Candy Farver, great-grandfather Bob Langston, and great-great-grandfather Joseph Lawrence James.
