CONCORD, N.H. – A Harrisville man has pleaded guilty in federal court for his role in purchasing live-streamed child s*xual abuse material, U.S. Attorney Erin Creegan announced.

David Mendum, 46, entered the guilty plea on Monday to one count of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in criminal s*xual activity. U.S. District Judge Paul Barbadoro has scheduled his sentencing for November 25, 2025.
According to court records, Mendum admitted to paying child sex traffickers in the Philippines to produce live-streamed sexual abuse content involving minors, which was then transmitted to him over the internet.
The Department of Homeland Security led the investigation, with assistance from the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Epping Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Anna Z. Krasinski is handling the prosecution.
The case falls under Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat child exploitation. The program brings together federal, state, and local agencies to investigate and prosecute offenders while identifying and rescuing victims of abuse.
