Alexander, affectionately known as Alex, was the founder of Ignite the Fire Ministry, an organization dedicated to empowering young people across the Caribbean through missions, leadership, and evangelism. Throughout his decades of ministry, he travelled to numerous countries, spreading the message of faith, compassion, and hope.

“He wasn’t just a man of prayer—he lived it,” a close associate shared. “He gave freely of himself, always ready to listen, teach, and uplift those around him.”

Serena, inspired by her father’s example, was actively involved in humanitarian efforts and youth outreach programs. Her empathy and vibrant spirit made her a source of light and encouragement to many. Together, the pair represented a legacy of selflessness and courage that touched countless lives.

Evangelist Wurm is survived by his wife, Candace, and two children — James (17) and Christiana (20).

As tributes pour in from around the world, many have described Alexander and Serena as “beacons of faith and love” whose impact will continue to inspire others.
