A helicopter crash near the Penn’s Peak concert hall in Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, has resulted in at least one confirmed death. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m., when emergency crews and police arrived to find the helicopter in a wooded area.
The Carbon County Coroner confirmed a fatality at the scene, though authorities have not yet disclosed whether others were injured.
