TICONDEROGA, N.Y. — The emergency medical community is mourning the loss of Flight Paramedic Kevin Robert, who passed away suddenly on the evening of August 27 after experiencing a medical emergency while on duty aboard LifeNet 7-13, the air medical helicopter based in Ticonderoga.
Authorities said Kevin became ill mid-flight while working alongside a flight nurse and pilot as they transported a patient in critical condition. The crew immediately diverted to the nearest hospital, where medical teams rushed to provide emergency care. Despite extensive efforts from the flight crew, dispatchers, first responders, and hospital staff, Kevin tragically could not be revived.
Kevin’s death has left a profound void among colleagues and loved ones. Known for his dedication, compassion, and calm under pressure, he was regarded as a steady presence in life-or-death situations and a source of comfort to patients and families alike.
