Robinson was fatally shot in a drive-by attack shortly after midnight on Wednesday while on a golf trip with friends in Wisconsin.
The Incident
Sheboygan Falls Police reported receiving calls of gunfire around 12:08 a.m. near a local hotel. Responding officers discovered Robinson suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Robinson was walking back to his hotel when shots were fired from a passing dark-colored SUV. The motive remains unclear, and authorities are urging witnesses to contact police as the suspect remains at large.
“This is a top priority for our department,” police said in a statement. “We are committed to identifying and apprehending those responsible.”
