The crash occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of South Highway 85 and Main Street, where emergency crews responded to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Sharla was pronounced dead at the scene.
