Fredericton, New Brunswick – Authorities have identified the woman whose body was discovered in a wooded area near Two Nations Crossing on October 20, 2025, as 28-year-old Montana Solomon, a resident of Fredericton.
The Fredericton Police Force confirmed that Solomon’s death is being treated as a homicide, though investigators believe the tragedy was an isolated incident posing no ongoing threat to the public.
An autopsy is pending as detectives work to uncover the exact cause of death and piece together the events leading up to Solomon’s discovery. So far, no arrests have been made, but authorities say their investigation remains active and ongoing.
“This is a heartbreaking loss for the community,” police stated, extending condolences to Solomon’s family and friends as they grieve the devastating news.
